Episode 22 – Baklava Apple Pie

Yes, we are back, AGAIN, our apologies. Ahem. Let’s just do the British thing and look mildly embarrassed before moving on:

Welcome to the twenty-second episode of Down and Safe, where Michael, Liz, Scott, and Amal embark on a discussion of the ninth episode of season two, Voice from the Past.

This is a useful reminder that this podcast is very probably not safe for work, and may contain mild spoilers for the rest of the Blake’s 7 series throughout the episode (we keep major spoilers to a spoiler section of the podcast that we give warning is going to be particularly spoilery.)

If you would like to support the podcast, we have a very shiny Patreon.

  1. I’m a bit disappointed that no one mentioned the ridiculous fake eye plastered over the bandages on Shivan… I’ve got to wonder why on earth that was done.

  2. Travis had the Liberator, all he had to do was take the ship away out of orbit and leave Blake and the others to be caught! Instead he forces Jenna and Cally to teleport him down, leaving the ship, just to go get a shot of killing Blake himself! But it was all over, just stay on the Liberator and Travis wins!? Was his character going insane or were the writers? A fun episode that had it’s moments, including Servalan of course! But a few plot holes that need not have happened.. Favorite Vila line, “Blake? Blake?! No,Vila i’ve never been to Del-10 before, i’m in need of a large dose of the beeta-particles, as are we all..”
